Your future tasks with us include for example:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and system specifications
- Perform link design and link budget analysis
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with frequency allocation rules
- Selection, acquisition, and integration of satcom subsystems in the small satellite
- Provide technical support for ground station operations and troubleshooting
Our Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Telecommunications/Aerospace Engineering or similar
- Hands-on experience in complex (space) projects
- Experience with software-defined radios (SDRs) and ground station equipment
- Experience in the conception of new space communication topics is preferred. E.g. - link budget analysis, odulation schemes, and error correction coding
- Familiarity with simulation tools like MATLAB, STK, and programming languages like Python
- Holding an amateur radio license is advantageous but not mandatory
- German language skills in writing and speaking prefered
