ZfT at the BDBOS innovation forum

At the BDBOS Innovation Forum in Berlin, held from June 12th to 14th, 2024, perspectives for the future digital public service radio were discussed. The Center for Telematics was represented multiple times to bring its expertise in the remote control of drones into the discussions.

On the one hand, the DroneResponseNet project, which was launched at the beginning of the month, was presented. In collaboration with the cooperation partners Police Inspection Harburg and Frequentis, the project aims to implement an automated drone operation from the control center. On the other hand, the panel “Drones in the BOS Network - from Idea to Reality” discussed the opportunities and challenges of integrating drones into the public service network in general.
